Barricade Sliding Shutter at Ladram Bay Holiday Park, South Devon
The Barricade sliding shutter is a collapsible gate that neatly folds back when not in use. At Ladram Bay Holiday Park it closes off the indoor climbing wall when it's not in use.
At Ladram Bay families with children spend their holidays, and the park has many facilities to keep their guests entertained. One of them is an indoor climbing wall where people of all abilities can have fun.
The park needed a way to close off access to the climbing wall when there is no supervision, and the Barricade collapsible gate proved to be a perfect solution.
Over the years we have fitted and maintained many shutters at Ladram Bay. We had just finished working on their bar area upgrade with the completion of fitting shutters on the main bar as well as the childrens area, when we were asked to look at the climbing wall area.
The park needed to secure the area when closed but also needed a cost effective solution for the five metre long area.
The answer came with our Barricade callapsible gate, a cost effective solution to securing large areas. The area is completely open during the day but can be fully secured when the climbing wall is closed.
