Commercial shutters for windows and doors

For office windows, we recommend our range of aluminium K25 roller shutters. These shutters are strong, but lightweight and roll up into a small box. This means they fit almost any window or door.

We also offer a range of punched aluminium shutters if you want natural light to come in through the shutter or if airflow is a requirement.

Security shutters for bars and reception desks

It's often desirable to secure a bar or reception area when it's unattended. Typically bars and reception desks don't need very strong security shutters, but a barrier that visually closes off the counter and prevents opportunists from taking any valuables is usually a good idea.

Shutters for curved bars/reception desks or where head room is restricted

For curved reception desks, a shutter from the horizontally sliding FlexiGlide range is a good choice. These shutters can follow any curve and stack away out of sight into a box on the side.

Roller grilles or shutters for straight or angled bars/reception desks

With a rolling grille you can maintain a sense of openness while effectively securing the area. See our chainlink roller grilles or PVC grilles. If more security is needed we recommend a perforated or punched aluminium roller shutter with viewing slats. For more privacy we recommend a solid aluminium roller shutter such as the K25 or wooden roller shutters.

Fire rated shutters

In certain situations it is necessary to install a fire rated roller shutter. HVP is a specialist fire shutter installer and can give you specific advice for your situation. Please see our section on fire shutters for more information.

Division of a room

If an acoustic barrier is not required, a roller shutter makes for an economical alternative for division of a room. Typically, this might be the separation of a kitchen area from a restaurant area. See the K25 and K77 solid aluminium roller shutters.

Commercial garage roller doors

HVP manufacture a range of commercial garage shutters. For visibility and airflow we suggest an open type roller grille ^*. See CL200 roller grilles. For a solid appearance see screenguard or, where a limited amount of airflow is required, see viewguard security roller shutters. Whilst our literature shows these products operated by a tubular motor, we will upgrade to a commercial block motor where regular use of the shutter is required throughout the day.

Office doors and Windows

Putting steel shutters over office doors and windows isn't always the most attractive option. The HVP range of K25 aluminium shutters gives a more aesthetic finish with a smaller lath profile and smaller box size at the top (typically, 180mm instead of 305mm for a typical door height). The lath is double skinned, offering excellent strength and, as with most of our shutter range, can be powder coated in a wide range of colours.
