1. Do your security shutters come with a warranty?

   Yes, every security shutter we install comes with a 12 month warranty against factory defects and installation errors. Should a problem develop with your shutter in this period, we'll remedy it free of charge - and if you take out a maintenance contract with us we'll extend this warranty to 24 months.

2. Can you paint my shutter in a specific colour?

   Usually we can. Each security shutter comes with a standard factory finish. For example, steel roller shutters are galvanised as standard. Aluminium roller shutters usually come in a natural anodised finish (although some are coloured as standard). Most (but not all) types can be powder coated or painted to a standard RAL colour or specific colour of your choice. 3. How long will it take before my shutter is installed?

   It depends a bit on the product, but from confirmation of your order and signed off drawings, it typically takes 3 to 4 weeks before your shutter is installed. Before you order we'll always give you a specific delivery estimate.

4. I need a shutter really quickly. Can you do it?

   If we have the materials, we can usually work out a solution and will try very hard to accommodate you.

5. What does a security shutter from HVP cost?

   This question is difficult to answer without more information. It depends on various things like the size of the opening, the product, and any accessories you require. What we can say is that our prices are competitive. If you have a specific project in mind it's best to contact us for a quote.

6. Who should I buy a roller or sliding shutter from?

   Sadly, anyone can manufacture roller shutters or carry out their installation. Without access to a reliable source of information the manufacturer or installer will not be aware of Building Regulations, British and European standards, Health and Safety or the legalities required of them.

   HVP produce products to a high standard and have disciplined procedure for 'factory production control'. Our installation engineers are trained both in-house and externally. All senior engineers have achieved NVQ level 2 for the installation of roller shutters.
