HVP's Chainlink grilles are made from aluminium or steel tubes and links, put together with steel rods to make a lightweight, but strong curtain. They are available in brick bond (CL200) and inline (CL250) patterns.

Construction:
Manufactured from aluminium tubes and links on aluminium rods.
Tube size 111mm x 13mm;
Link size 86mm x 16mm x 3mm;
Steel guides 65mm x 32mm or 50mm x 32mm;
Aluminium T-section Bottom rail.
Operation:
Manual push up/pull down operation or electric operation by internal tubular motor with manual override facility. Safety brake fitted when required to comply with BS EN 13241:2003-1 (HVP Security Shutters' general policy is to fit a safety brake unless specified otherwise).
Locking Options:
Bottom rail central key lock, guide pin locks, or ground padlocking system.
Electrically operated grilles are generally self-locking. For additional security HVP Security Shutters recommends guide pin locks or a ground padlocking unit combined with a motor isolator box.
Pattern Options:
Available in two patterns:
- CL200 - brick bond pattern (aperture size 225mmW x 65mmH)
- CL250 - inline pattern (aperture size 110mmW x 65mmH)

Description Chainlink roller grilles
The CL200 and CL250 are modern looking, versatile grilles, manufactured in aluminium, steel, or stainless steel, suitable for a range of different applications.
On shop fronts they are ideally placed behind glass to form a strong barrier. Many town planning departments prefer this arrangement over a solid shutter fitted on the outside of a building. Internally-fitted is the recommended arrangement in high risk areas.
Chainlink grilles are available in 2 patterns: a brickbond pattern (CL200 - left) or an inline pattern (CL250 - right).
A large area of open space between the links gives a very high level of visibility, allowing goods on display to be seen.
The same sense of openness makes the CL200 and CL250 popular choices on reception counters, bars and serveries. Its fine lines give it an elegant look, which blends in well with many contemporary interiors.
Standard finishes are anodised natural, polished stainless steel, and a range of powder coat paint colours.

Placed behind glass, Chainlink roller grilles are a highly secure setup. Potential intruders would first have to break the glass, usually setting off an intruder alarm, and then work at the security grille through broken glass before being able to gain entrance.
At the same time, the open construction of Chainlink roller grilles allows goods to be displayed very well. It's this combination of security and visibility that makes Chainlink roller grilles such an excellent choice for shop front security.
